Nick Thornquist
Blackstone Bookkeeping was founded by Nick Thornquist to provide accurate, reliable bookkeeping for small businesses across Massachusetts. Nick earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accountancy from Bentley University, one of the nation’s top business schools. After starting his career in Corporate Finance at a Fortune 100 company, he went on to serve as Director of Finance for a growing small business, where he discovered his passion for helping owners understand their numbers.
Having grown up in Ashland, MA, and now living in Blackstone with his wife and kids, Nick is proud to serve local entrepreneurs, trades, construction companies, real estate investors, and professional service providers. With years of experience in accounting, payroll, and tax planning, Nick ultimately realized that bookkeeping was where he could create the greatest impact—helping business owners save time, stay organized, and make confident financial decisions. That realization led to the creation of Blackstone Bookkeeping, where the focus is simple: deliver trustworthy bookkeeping so small businesses can grow with clarity and peace of mind.
